Just in case you ever wondered what it's like to have half of your thyroid removed, here's the videos I made that discuss the matter.
In hindshight, it wasn't all that bad. I was only off my running for about a week and a half if you count my less-than-enthusiastic return to running. The entire idea that I had cancer and needed surgery just slayed me and it took such a tremendous emotional toll. As I stand here, the day after completing my third half marathon, not even three months after surgery, I realize how truly BLESSED I am!
